In 2020, I joined the Coinbase Security team where I have a variety of responsibilities, largely focused on building and architecting security systems and controls around storing and transferring crypto.
COMMON BLACK COLLEGE APPLICATION
C.T.O. / Lead Software Engineer 2016-2021
The Common Black College Application is a company that has assisted tens of thousands of students over the past few years get connected with and cheaply apply to Historically Black College’s and Universities around the United States. Focusing on increasing the number of underrepresented college graduates, I have been tasked with completely redeveloping the overall infrastructure, managing all technical aspects of the company ranging from development, security, devops, and more.
C.E.O. / Lead Web Developer
2016-2020
In 2016, I joined with two other Georgia Tech graduate students to begin a company focused on developing software products with the goal of addressing various problems that we have identified important to us in our community. While focusing on small businesses and start-ups, we are working to change the world, one application at a time. We currently are focusing on full stack mobile and web development, but also offer services for nearly any other software product that you might need. Feel free to check us out!
Lead Web Developer for Georgia Tech’s Robotarium
2016-2018
The goal of the Robotarium project is to develop a shared, remotely accessible multi-robot testbed that aims at remedying these issues and will enable researchers to remotely access a state-of-the-art multi-robot test facility. In this project, I lead the effort on the web development front as well as the network security front. Read more about my contributions to the Robotarium project here!
Graduate Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Computer Security

I work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Computer Security (ECE 4894) under Dr. Raheem Beyah, where I run the lab portion of the course, grade assignments, and help students explore the various avenues that are within computer and network security. Capabilities Development Specialist
2014-2020
As a Development Specialist, I possessed the following roles and duties:
- Developed tools to support Computer Network Operations for a variety of software frameworks across multiple operating systems.
- Collaborated with multiple development teams to organize and create multi-agent environments. Projects demonstrated expertise in C, Python,and Posix (Linux and Solaris) programming, and Agile software development practices.
- Created unit tests with CMOCK and Python to evaluate tool compliance with customer requirements.
- Worked directly with a variety of customers to provide support and operational guidance.
Computer Systems Researcher
2013-2014
As a Computer Systems Researcher, I possessed the following roles and duties:
- Learned about the cryptographic aspects of the Linux kernel in order to configure an ARM device to work with multiple cryptographic algorithms.
- Researched and developed embedded systems to learn about networking and security protocols, primarily in the aspects ofVPNs and WPA using para-virtualization and hypervisors.
- Conducted research on a novel, multi-tunneled wireless architecture using virtualization on embedded systems.
Software Engineer/Developer
2012-2013
As a Software Engineer, I possessed the following roles and duties:
- Created 10 new python scripts and modified over 200 current python scripts in order to support customer mission needs.
- Daily research into topics including base 32, base 64, base 85, OpenSSL, Wireshark and T-Shark, and certificates.
- Lead and oversaw the successful release of an updated product.
